Cancellation & Refund Policy

At MTI Car Rental, we understand that plans can change. Our Cancellation & Refund policy ensures a fair and transparent experience for both customers and drivers. Please read the following terms carefully before cancelling any booking.

1. Free Cancellation Window

Local & Airport Trips:
Cancellation is free if done at least 60 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

Outstation Trips:
Cancellation is free if done at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

2. Cancellation Charges

a. Local/Airport Rides

Time of Cancellation	Cancellation Fee
0–60 minutes before pickup	₹100 or 10% of fare (whichever is higher)
After driver is en route	₹200 or 25% of fare (whichever is higher)
After driver reaches pickup location	₹300 or 50% of fare (whichever is higher)

b. Outstation Rides

Time of Cancellation	Cancellation Fee
0–4 hours before pickup	25% of total fare
After driver has started the journey	50% of total fare
After driver reaches pickup point	100% of base fare + toll (if any)

3. No-Show by Customer

If the customer is not available or unresponsive for 15 minutes at the pickup location:

The booking will be marked as a “No-Show”

The customer will be charged ₹300 or 50% of the fare, whichever is higher

4. Refund Policy

Eligible refunds (after deduction of cancellation charges) will be processed within 5–7 Business working days via the original mode of payment.

MTI is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.

5. Special Conditions

In case of natural disasters, political strikes, or unavoidable emergencies, cancellation charges may be waived at MTI’s discretion.

For prepaid bookings, MTI reserves the right to deduct applicable charges before processing refunds.
